Sunday, September 13, 2026 - 1pm – 4pm

Monday, September 14, 2026 -  6:30pm – 8:30pm

Tuesday, September 15, 2026 -  6:30pm – 8:30pm

 

First Meeting: Sunday, October 18, 2026 – 1pm

Rehearsals will be 3-4 times a week beginning in November

You must be CONFLICT FREE: December 6 – 20, 2026

If you love this heart-warming Christmas classic, Christmas carols and the spirit of the season, then this show may be for you.  A shorter rehearsal period than many shows, so this may be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to bring your talents to the stage.

 

SYNOPSIS: Step back in time and experience A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play with Music is a heartwarming holiday classic reimagined as a 1940s radio broadcast. As a troupe of voice actors and live foley artists brings Dickens beloved tale to life, the story of Ebenezer Scrooge unfolds with festive charm, ghostly visitations, and a powerful message of redemption. Complete with vintage jingles, live sound effects, and holiday music, this nostalgic, spirited retelling is a magical celebration of community, compassion, and the true meaning of Christmas. Recommended for all ages.

You must complete an audition form & sign up for an audition time slot

CHARACTERS:

The following characters are mainly actors, but will have the opportunity to do some singing.
 

FREDDIE FILMORE: (age 18 and above)
voices the characters of: Ebenezer Scrooge
 

JAKE LAURENTS: (age 18 and above)
voices the characters of: Marley and the Ghost of Christmas Present, Belle’s Husband, Second Man & Undertaker
 

HARRY “JAZZBO” HAYWOOD: (age 18 & above)
voices the characters of: Bob Cratchit, Topper, Fezziwig & Old Joe
 

LANA SHERWOOD: (age 18 & above)

Voices the characters of: The Ghost of Christmas Past, Martha (Cratchit’s daughter), Fred’s housekeeper, Charwoman
 

SALLY APPLEWHITE: (age 18 & above)

Voices the characters of: Fred’s Wife, Belle, Gentlewoman, Mrs Fezziwig, Mrs Cratchit & Laundress
 

BILLY NOONAN: (age 9 – 13)
Boy singing carols, Little Boy, Young Scrooge & Tiny Tim
 

CHORUS, CROWD VOICES, & SOUND EFFECTS (age 9 & above)
If you like to sing, we are looking for up to 12 people to make up our “Studio Chorus” Please prepare 2 songs that are no more than 24 measures in length. 
You will also be asked to do a small reading. There will be solo opportunities for some people. These characters will be from the chorus: Good Little Girl, Naughty Little Girl, First Man, Plump Sister, Peter & Fan
