About The Artist Two-time TONY Nominee and recent star as Margaret Johnson in the National Tour of the TONY Award winning musical "The Light in the Piazza." Christine has spent her life entertaining audiences all over the world. After bursting onto the New York theatre scene starring as Eliza Doolittle in the 20th anniversary production of "My Fair Lady," opposite Ian Richardson of the Royal Shakespeare Company and garnering her the Theatre World Award. She received her first TONY nomination for recreating the character of Laurey in the revival of "OKLAHOMA" while working with Billy Hammerstein and Agnes DeMille. Her second nomination was for the role of Frankie Frayn in "On Your Toes." She received critical acclaim for her role as Margaret St. Just in the "Scarlet Pimpernel". Other Broadway credits include: "Angel Street," "RAGS," and "Legs Diamond," with the late great Peter Allen. Christine's singing career has produced three critically acclaimed CD's as well as being featured on several revival and original Broadway recordings.
