INCLEMENT WEATHER

We are Ohio so the weather is always changing. But unless our production on team can’t get to the theatre or the county or state don’t close the roads the show will go on. Call or check our web page for the latest updates.

LATECOMERS

For the consideration of our patrons, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager. If a patron leaves the theatre during the performance the same policy will apply and the patron will gain re-admittance at the House Managers discretion.

CHILDREN’S POLICY

While we encourage children to attend the theatre not all shows are appropriate. Please make sure to ask any questions prior to purchasing tickets no refunds will be allowed. All children will pay the same ticket price as an adult unless a special ticket price is advertised. Please be considerate of other patrons and remove unruly or noisy children from the theatre.

RECORDING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

The use of recording equipment or the taking of photographs in the theatre is strictly forbidden.

COURTESY TO OTHER PATRONS

For everyone’s enjoyment of the performance, please refrain from talking, unwrapping candy, using excessive perfume or blocking the view of other patrons. If you experience a disturbance, please notify an usher and the situation will be handled discreetly.

SMOKING

Middletown Lyric Theatre is a smoke-free building. All on stage smoke, fog and haze effects are created with water-based, non-toxic materials. Smoking is permitted outside of the building please use receptacles provided.

CELL PHONES AND PAGERS

The use of cell phone, pagers or other electronic devices is strictly prohibited when in the theatre. Please turn off all electronic devices prior to curtain.
